Support Group

Hi everyone,

 

I just wanted to tell everyone about a terrific support group in the Novi, MI area.  I know that wont be convenient for everyone bu I just wante to share my experience.  It is led by laura Preston who is a certified OH leader as well as a WLS veteran, with tons of personal experience and info to share.  It is held on Saturday mornings at the Lifetime Fitness in Novi.  There is no solicitation for memberships whatsoever although it is an awesome looking club.  The core group is a really nice mix of very post ops, very new post ops and pre ops like myself.  Although I will be making my way to the otherside within a month or so.  Being so close to having my surgery and being really nervous about it, it is awesome to have found this group.  If you have any questions about it, please do not hesitate to contact me, or Laura Preston directly.

I second his opinion. Laura's group is awesome.

Where is Lifetime fitness?? That may not be too far for me.

Hey, Mike and Tyra, good to see you here.  And Shug, come on to the support group-it isn't too far from Twelve Oaks Mall.  It was great to have people to talk to who are in our shoes.  And Laura is a real role model for the rest of us.
