Hey all-
Can you believe summer is almost over?  This summer has flown by faster then usual!! 
I leave for up north tomorrow then I am off to have surgery.  Fun times!!

Been so busy here that we really hadn't realized that school was about to start for the kids... At least we got all the supplies bought already.  Their mom buys the clothes, we get the supplies.....

Anyhow.... We are going to the gym everyday and I am having the HARDEST time losing these last 5 pounds, the first 10 came off pretty quick, but these last 5 are stickin around.... what to do.... I work out on the machines for like 45 minutes, then we swim for 45 min.  I am eating about 1000 or so a day.  (generally alittle less), drinking all my water and stuff.... so what gives... any advice?  anyone??

Well, take it easy... I see dr. carlin on Friday and these pounds need to be gone....
 
  gotta go so I can get moving.... and groovin' again...

Mornin' all!

Christie, you might need to up your protein and maybe your calories by a little bit.  I know when I started exercising my body kind of went in to shock and seemed to hold on to every calorie I ate.  I do much better when I up my protein.  Maybe you could eat a bar after you work out?  Give it a try for a few days and see if it makes a difference.

Hope you're all doing well today.  I am school clothes shopping tonight.....fun fun fun!!

I agree with Brenda.  I recently upped my calorie intake, with good calories, cut out carbs and sugar and lost 8 pounds in less than 2 weeks.  Oh, I also started back to the gym during this time. 

So maybe a little added protein or a bar, like Brenda said, will help.  Tina

What are you talkin' about?  We have a month left of summer!  It's not OFFICIALLY over until September 21 or 22.  LOL!
