greek yogurt in Muskegon or Ludington MI and where to get it
I was told that you could buy the greek yogurt from meijers and walmart but I can not find it. What name do I look for and where abouts would i find it.(what section of the store)
I may not be losing like I want but at least I am alive...

Your Meijer or Walmart might not carry it, but you can ask them to. The brand that I buy is called "Total." It is labeled as "Total 0% Fage Greek Style Yogurt." (The 0% is for the nonfat, you can also get it in 2% and full fat versions.)
There are other brands available, just look for any greek style yogurt. It should be found in the yogurt or dairy section. Maybe in the health food refrigerated section by the Kefir?

Fage is good greek yogurt, I can't get my Meijers to carry it but Fage told me Meijers in MI carries Fage.
Trader Joes brand is good.
Whole Foods carries both greek yogurts.
IMO..Greek Yogurt is the best.. good luck in finding it!

Kroger carries a yogurt brand called Carbmaster. It's not a Greek yogurt, but it has a high protein content. I'm going to try the Greek yogurt. Thanks for the info!!

Hi Mary! I answered your post on the main board, but you might have missed it. I buy Fage at the Meijer on Harvey St. in Muskegon. (by The Lakes Mall.) I don't know if other ones carry it or not, because that's the one I shop at 99.9% of the time. But they always have it. In the yogurt section, its on the top shelf, the very far right side, very close to the cottage cheese and sour cream section. They carry 0%, 2%, full fat and also flavored. I always buy 0% unless they are out, then I go with 2%.
Penney, greek yogurt is unflavored and very high in protein (13g) and can be flavored with sugar free syrups (I like DaVinci's SF raspbberry or french vanilla) and splenda. Some people flavor it with fresh fruit or SF preserves and splenda. It's not very good plain. (In my opinion.) It can also be a good substitute for sour cream in recipes. It's a thicker consistency than most yogurts, almost like sour cream.
