Hi everyone!

I'm at work, doing my thing....drinking water.

Has anyone had Blue Cross cover a breast lift?  I was hoping they would, but my surgeon's office told me yesterday that they wouldn't.    Looks like it's just going to be the TT for me in December.

So what is everyone up to today?

Laurie B had a complete lift a while ago an as I remember it was covered.
I wonder if they tried or justdidn't bother. I would call them personally.

Morning Michigan,

Woke up this morning with a major headache, hoping my coffee would cure it, but it didnt.  Stress does wonders to your body.

Hoping today is a bit more relaxed, looking forward to a long 5 day weekend.   Going to be searching for a place to stay in the UP.  Not exactly sure where we are going but my son wants to see the Big Bridge.  recommendations are gladly accepted.

Hope you have a good one.

Pam

Well, let's see.  Today, I'm going shoe shopping.  I need new tennis shoes.  I bought brand new tennis shoes for the gym before I had surgery.  They are size 10 or 10.5.  I don't remember for sure.  Well, they are too big, but I tried wearing them again to the gym the other day.  They rubbed blisters on my heels.  So, I'm giving up and buying new tennis shoes today.  Other than that, I'm hanging by the pool, these last few days of my vacation.

Sorry, I have no info regarding insurance and the ta-ta lift.  Haven't gone there, yet.

Sidenote (in case someone actually reads this and wonders):  I have worn the shoes to the gym many times.  They have caused blisters before, but not every time....only when I do the treadmill.

Well, its tuesday and its a wonderful day--so far so good anyhow...

Yesterday we joined the YMCA and today I see the personal trainer for the first time :)  woo hoo!  So, that means that ALL of my pre-surgical stuff is done... I go see Dr. Carlin next week and he tells me if I am doing ok or not... I know I am though...

So we are swimming for 2 hours, then I see the trainer.  We joined all 4 of us--me, hubby and the 2 kids.  Its better than just ME going to curves, they get no benefit out of that, but this way .... we all can use it and its cheaper in the long run....

My sister had BC and CHAMPVA  and they told her it would cover it but she didn't have enough viable tissue.... But that was like 5 years ago anyhow...

We had the 2 kids with us so we were in the deep end playing around and actually the time flew by!  It was cool, then I went upstairs to work out and my legs were like jelly... so from now on,... its work out THEN swim...

Hey Brenda Lou-
I have BCBS PPO and it covered my TT- make sure you get tightening and lipo too and not just a panniculectomy.  I know they covered that but not the extraa 800 or lipo and tightening.  It is sooooo worth it- you dont want a muffin top..lol  If medically necessary they may cover the lift but is geneally considered cosmetic.
Have a great week!!
