Who supplies you vitamins and calcium?
Thanks KP My vitamins are chelated. Thanks also for explaining the reason behind chelation.
I also did check my paperwork from MMPC and it says "one regular multivamin". I have an appointment next week and will discuss with them further. Had lab work so might have some problems. Since I have had two resections to small intestines and one resection of colon then chelated vitamin might be important to me.
Thanks again KP for the advise.

Double check your dosage recommendations. If your doc is only recommending you take 1 multi per day, definitely question him on that. The ASMBS recommends RNY and DS patients take double the normal dose -- so 2 per day.

Thanks Pam. I have an appointment Thursday of next week so will definitely talk with them about it. I had the VSG if that makes any difference. I will also be getting my first blood work results since surgery. Probably wouldn't hurt me to go ahead and start taking two tablets each day anyway. Thanks again
