My Morning protien coffee is done, working on some herb tea.

Hopefully going to be a pretty quiet work week.  Looking forward to some traveling to the UP next week.

Whats everyone else doing with the remaining weeks of summer?

Have a good one

Good Morning!! I took the kids to the up to the U.P. over the 4th of July to my brothers in Bark River/Escanaba area and had a great time.  These last few weeks will have gone by before you know it so enjoy it all you can. I am planning a couple short trips up north (lower Michigan) before summers end. As for my coffee, i am enjoying my cup of instant this morning.  Have a great Monday!

Drinking water and diving in to my big pile of work on my desk.

What a lovely week I'm going to have.  My boss is off on Monday and Tuesday, I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday that will kill most of the morning, and then I'm off on Friday!  Hubby is going to a convention this week in Indy and I'm going to join him for the weekend.  The scary part is my ex is staying with the boys at my house!  But it will be nice to get away for a few days.  DH and I have only been away together one other time......our wedding last year in Vegas for 2 days.

Going to start back to school shopping this week.  That's my favorite part of the end of summer!

I have done what little school shopping can be done for a kindergardener.  Luckily his birthday is the 8/29, and he gets tons of clothes then, which reduces my expense a bit.

One thing  I need to look for is snow pants.  He has went from a size 4 last year to a 6/7 this year.  My SIL told me not to buy too much, she thinks he will have another growth spurt late September/October.  At almost 5 he is wearing the same size clothes as his cousins that are 7.   Guess I should expect it, he had a good start at 10 pounds 3 oz and that was 2 weeks preme.

Well, I'm back to work in exactly 2 weeks from today.  WAHHHHH!  Unfortunately this weather is NOT helping me as I "mourn" the impending end of my summer vacation!  Not much going on this week.  I woke up feeling kinda icky.  Trying to figure that out.  Drinking my coffee and some water.  Watching the olympics.  Michael Phelps is going to swim, again, soon.  I watched the men's 400M relay last night.  What an exciting race and I'm not a swimmer!  LOL!

Brenda, I console my return to work at the end of the summer by "school clothes" shopping.  It's very therapeutic.  Tina

Seems like you just said "2 more days left of school!!!"  Time flies and this summer has gone by so fast...doesn't even feel like summer this year.  Enjoying your last days- we need a pool party to end the summer!!!!  GNOOOOOOOOO
