OT: Golf courses near Lansing

DH and I will be in Lansing for a wedding next weekend. Any recommendations for someone learning to golf? Nothing too hard..or too expensive.

I asked hubby and he said Waverly is a nice course. He worked in lansing for 28 years at GM.
