Super-dee-dooper WOW moment!
Last night was my 15 year high school class reunion. I literally hadn't seen any of these people since graduation as I had moved out of state. No one recognized me! When I told them who I was, they couldn't believe it. I can't remember how many "You look amazing"'s I got. It felt incredible. There were definitely some people there who use to tease me in high school, and boy were they eating humble pie. I had one guy tell me I looked better than all the former cheerleaders that were there, and frankly I thought they still looked pretty good.
I actually think this provided some closure for me. Being teased haunted me throughout my life and certainly contributed to why I became a compulsive eater. A tremendous weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I wonder how they would've reacted if I had shown up at 346 pounds. I guess we'll never know
