TGIF whats going on

Good morning Michiganders, How are we this fine morning?????

Any fun plans this weekend?? Anyone hanging out downtown?? I am going to the Ribs and Soul fest on the riverfront. I love the riverfront. Plus my co-worker is a vendor there and I will try to help him out with sales. I am having an Iced Mocha this morning to jump start my caffenation. Then on to water. I start my 4 plus 1 diet in a couple weeks so, I am practicing the liquids and the art of sipping!!

Goodmorning- I love the riverfront too-  Don't get down there as much as I use to.  Today is my girlfriends birthday so meeting her for lunch and tomorrow heading down to the Kenny Chesney/Keith Urban concert.  Should be a good time.  Drinking my protein shake  to get myself jump started too.  I love my RNY!!!!!!!  Have a terrific weekend.    Jennie K

I am recovering from Pig Gig right now....the Wellington ribs where da' BOMB! Yummie.... I had one too many glasses of wine while there so that should make for a slower day today..(Carey, DiNick said it was ok..lol)

All I have planed tonight is our ritual Friday night PIZZA night!  And one of my kids has a friend spending the weekend!

Tomorrow it' a FULL day of boating...gota get some sun!  Im starting to get PALE!!!

Woo Hooo  5 days till we head out on the Gaynor Family vacation!  NYC this year...FUN FUN FUN!

Hey you!  Long time, no talk!  Hope all is well!  Been a long week here in TN.  And let me tell you...I've yet to find a GOOD CUP OF COFFEE in this town!  Grrrr....can't wait to get back on the highway and hit a starbucks...LOL! 

Whats going on? The helicopters woke me up at day break this morning.There was a shooting last evening that is very unusual.There were several kids walking to a favorite swimming  spot,it's a railroad bridge over the Menominee River that seperates Wisconsin and Michigan.A man jumped out of the woods on the Wisconsin side and started shooting across the river at these kids..Three were killed and one was wounded.I live about a mile from the river so I can hear the planes and helicopters searching for this man.My heart goes out to the parents of these children.They just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Just read about this... Talk about MESSED up!

I can't imagine being one of the parents...some days the world is sick.

So far a quiet day in the D for me. I will be downtown because I have to work at 5 AM on Sunday for a computer conversion at the DMC. I am having dinner with a former co-worker tonight and celebrating a friend's birthday tomorrow, so lots of action, some fun, some not.  Stay cool everyone.

Gussie, what a terrible thing to happen on such a beautiful summer day.  Those poor parents.  I hope they find this guy quick.
