Jenn,
While I was reading your post my ADD started flaring up.  I can't imagine making myself walk for that long unless there was shopping involved LOL

You're just the awesomest!

I have reverse ADD.  I can do really mundane things for long periods of time, hehe!

Thanks for the compliments, Brenda (the workout queen)!

Holy cow girl!  You aren't walking, you're running!  That's a 13:28 minute mile which is actually running speed.  I'm averaging about a 17 minute mile right now.

Sounds like you need to sign up for the Crim or maybe the Brooksie Way.  I'd offer to walk with you, but you'd be leaving me in the dust.  :-)

Good job!  I'm so proud of your accomplishments!

Pam,

I never run!  I do jog a little here and there along the trail.  But, I do walk as fast as I possibly can.  I can't always walk that fast.  Today is a good example of that.  I worked, then worked out at Curves, walked 2 miles, ate dinner and went back and walked another 2.5 miles but at a much slower pace.

A 17 minute mile is awesome!  I can remember when it took me a half an hour to walk a mile and I thought I was doing something.

I'm toying with the idea of doing a 5K or even training for a half marathon (can you do those walking?).

I would never leave you in the dust!  You are doing so well yourself!  Yay!

I don't run either!  (Unless a bear is chasing me)

I'm walking the half marathon in October.  Also walking the Crim (10 miles).  So yes, definitely you can walk these things.  :-)

Go Jenn Go Jenn!  You are an inspiration.  I am so ready to get back to jazzercise....just have to find the time.  I will soon...very soon.  But I'm having fun right now just not being tired and moving around with the garden at home and the kids.  I love it.  Kaylee meets with the surgeon next week and hopefully get a surgery date in Sept. or early Oct.  She is excited and we are very proud of her for taking this big step.

Take care and I'll see ya next week!

Beth,

You will get back into exercise as soon as you are ready.  I'm so glad you are having so much fun moving.  It really is amazing, isn't it?

I'm very excited and proud of Kaylee for making this tough decision.  She's such a beautiful girl.

I'm glad you are coming to the meeting next week.  It's always nice to get together.
