Congratulations! Your date will be here before you know it.
I just posted a "Preparing for Surgery" post on my blog yesterday. Just some pointers of what I did while I was waiting for my date -- it might help you too. Here's the link:

As for clothes. Wait for Goodwill to have their 1/2 price sale. They have one twice a year where everything is half price. Or else go weekly and buy clothes that are on sale that week. Most of the clothing I get there is brand new (with tags) or like new and everything on sale is about $1.65 or less. I have several boxes in my bedroom/closet for each size. I just broke into the Size 16 box and I'm packing away the 18's as I find things that are too big.
I also started a "Clothing Fund" -- a little savings fund for a new wardrobe when I hit my goal weight. Every pay period whatever extra cash I have in my wallet goes into the envelope and anytime I have extra money come in or gift cards for holidays... it goes into the envelope. I just had a yard sale a couple weeks ago and sold a ton of my fat clothes .. .all the money from that went into the envelope. So after a year of saving my pennies and extra money I'll have a nice fat wad of cash to splurge on new clothes.
Again, congrats on the date!
Pam
