i HAVE WONDERED ABOUT OFFERING A CLOTHING EXCHANGE AT MY MIDMICHIGAN HOME ALONG WITH MAYBE A POTLOCK MEAL,  
iVE NEVER MADE IT TO MANY OF THE DOS AROUND MIDMICHIGAN AS i ICAN'T DRIVE AT NIGHT AND I HAVE HAD TO BE UP TO TO MY PARENTS A LOT AS MY MOM IS FAILING SLOWING AND WE DON'T KNOW HOW LONG HOW LONG WE WILL BE BLESSED WITH HER  BEING WITH US.  I WOULD  LIKE TO JOIN SOME OF THE ACTIVIES AROUND HERE. MY HOUSE HERE IN OWOSSO IS QUITE LARGE FOR BOTH A CLOTHING EXCHANGE AND A POTLOCK IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED,   IT WOULD GIVE ME A WAY TO GET INVOLVED IN A GROUP OF WHAT SEEMS TO BE A NICE GROUP PEOPLE.   ANY TIME END OF  AUG OR SEPT WOULD FOR US. AS WE AREN;T REAL BUSY PEOLPLE. iD APPRECIATE SOME OF YOU GETTING BACK TO ME TO SEE IT THIS MIGHT WORK TO MAKE SOME NEW FREINDS FOR US

That's a good idea. We did that 4 years ago at Laurie B's house and it worked out well. We had a bonfire and cookout and clothes were exchanged. WLS was at a high then it seemed too. There were about 40 people ther.

Sounds like fun. Set it up and as many of us as can attend usually do. :)

I think that this sounds like a great idea, and I would come!
Hopefully a lot of pre-ops will come as well -- because I have a lot of clothes in larger sizes still that must go!
I will be out of the country until Sept 1, but will look for a posting announcing the date and details.

I'm having a garage sale on the 1st & 2nd of August, and what doesn't go will come with me! I'm into an 18 from a 28, and my husband supported me by losing 70+ on his own!  So we have a TON of clothes to try to get rid of!

And I don't mind driving that far!  I haven't done ONE thing yet with a group - but I read you all regularly...thanks for helping me along, even if you don't know you are!

I wish you peace with your family issues....however it may come.
