2 week pre-op at MMPC done today!

Thank you to those of you who answered my previous post! Everything went very well today &, altho I was there until 4:30, it went by pretty quickly! I met some great people there-3 others who are having surgery the same day as me & 2 of whom have the same surgeon as me also! We'll be walking the halls together! I told them all about the great support here at OH so I'm hoping they all visit here soon(you guys better post -you know who you are)!

Starting on "product" tomorrow! YUMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYY

Here I am posting, I was with you in the "class" today. It was a long time to be there and lots of information! But I am ready for this. I, however, will not start the product until Friday because of a special dinner we have planned for tomrrow night.
Thank you for the information about this site. It looks like there is a lot of information here, and I know I will be here a lot in the future.

How exciting for you I hope to be there one day soon!  How long for the process for you from the very beginning until your preop appt??? 

I was required (by ins) to do MMPC's 6 month weight mgmt program which I started the very end of Aug, beginning of Sept. So, it's been a little less than a year. It has gone by pretty quickly altho when I started, it sure seemed like a long road ahead. I hope things move along quickly for you!!!!

Good luck to you ! I am four years out and it's been a wonderful change of life for me. The best decision I ever made, and I didn't even mind the pre-op diet or the post-op diet ... really! (by the time you are post-op, you don't want to eat, trust me!)
