Did anyone else have trouble with letters?

My PCP wrote my first diet history letter and submitted it to Barix.  Barix said it needed to say I had 6 consecutive months of supervised diet, so my PCP revised the letter and sent it again, ok, good, but oh, forgot it needs to say 6 months within the last 4 years...ugggh...so PCP revises it again, faxes it to Barix, but this time forgot to sign it....WTF?  Is this common?  Are they just so busy the overlook the details?  Anyone else have this problem.  I know she will get it right, but the wait is killing me.  I just want to know it is done and taken care of so I can move on to the next step.  I have my mandatory BCBS required psych exam coming up on the 30th, so the psych eval and letter are the only things I need to get my date, which they said is looking like September.

edited to add:  I am thinking maybe they overlooked the fact that the letter was electronically signed, as is all their correspondence.  Emailed to have her check for the electronic signature statement.

The good thing about barix is they basically script that letter for your doctor.  I read the one mine faxed and in place of my name, he wrote his/her LOL!  and bcbs accepted it.  Barix just doesnt want them to find something little to reject it.  It will get done.  Just a tiny little bump in the long road.

and YES, they are sooo friggin busy these days.  I hate that.  I make them hang with me for atleat 20 mins when i am at the pcp's office.  even if i ask silly questions.  but i am kind of a jerk!

good luck.

Barix is very thorough.. but you couldn't be in better hands with them..

Yay!  Got the update from Barix this morning.  They have the letter, all they need now is my psych eval, which is scheduled for the 30th, and we are good to go!  Woohooo.

I didn't have problems with letters, I had problems with primary doctors *****fused to recommend me for surgery.  I actually had to leave two doctors and find a third who understood obesity and would help me in the WLS process. This cost me two years of waiting!

Ugh yes.

I got my last and final letter from the sleep clinic.  I was calling them for 3 weeks.  They claimed they mailed it but the surgeon never received it.  I finally told the sleep clinic to fax it to the surgeon if they want me to stop bugging them.

I had to call my PCP, rheumatologist, dietician and exercize physiologist to track their letters and keep it moving.  It was a pain but it paid off!  Keep on everyone!
