Barix

Hello, I've looked around on your forum but haven't seen any patients who've had surgery at Barix...does anyone know anything about it?

Hi, I didn't have my WLS surgery there but had post operative reconstructive surgery there.  What I can tell you is that the care is of utmost importance, pre op to post op care.  I know that people here have had WLS there, and will soon post their comments.  In the meantime, please check out their website if you haven't already at http://www.barixclinics.com/program/index.jsp Best of luck to you! Hi! I had my weightloss surgery at Barix a year ago.   They were great with me, before, after and during surgery.   I had lapband surgery and still go to them for my fills and for checkups.  I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.   They have a good team of doctors and their nursing staff  has been fantastic too. All and all I've had a good experience with them and would go to them again if I needed to. Good luck!..

Me!!!!  I did I did!  I love it there.  Complete total care from the minute you call for a consult until well, Dr. Schram said, 'I want to see you once a year for the rest of your life'.  So forever!  I am scheduled for my panny next month there with dr. dinick and I know I will be in good hands.

Hi, I had my surgery there 4 1/2 years ago.  It was a great experience.  I would recommend them to anyone. Carey

Hi, I haven't had my surgery yet, but that is where I am going.  So far, I have nothing but good things to say about them.  They have been very helpful.  They even talked to my PCP about my diet letter so that she could re-write it so it was acceptable for my insurance company.  They have been great.  My surgeon will be Dr. Schram and I have heard nothing but good, no...GREAT things about him.  He did my cousins surgery earlier this year and she just loves him.   I don't think you can go wrong with Barix...their entire program is excellent from what I have seen, heard and read.  Good luck!

I just had my reconstructive surgery at Barix. They're awesome. I'm also part of their forum support group. They're entire staff is awesome and focused on each patient. Maryann

Is that forum support group that you speak of located here on OH?  Or is it something I'll learn about at Barix?

Thanks everyone for the responses.  I'm headed there on the 21st for my consult and I'm sure I'll be confident in my decision to switch surgeons after hearing only good things about Barix.
