First Appointment

Hi, Tammi, I'm just a few weeks ahead of you in the process at MMPC.  My second appointment is on Tuesday. At the first appointment you'll see an internist for a physical.  I also had an EKG.  Bring all the test results and other health information you have.  They'll put it in your file and let you know if you need to get anything more.  They'll weigh you and do a body fat analysis - and let you know if you are a candidate.   The internist will answer any questions you have and offers sound advice.  Hope this helps! Hi Tammi,  I just had my surgery with Dr. Kemmeter from MMPC on July 3rd.  They will guide you through the process.  It usually takes a few months to get all of the info gathered, even when you're pretty organized.  I have BC/BS and my surgery was covered, but my BMI started at 51 which made the approval very easy.  If you have documentation of 6 months of dieting, you should be good too!
