I didn't realize it until I saw where you were heading today.  My neighbor took pity on me and got me out for a little bit.  We went to Walmart. I'm exhausted now. I'll be sleeping well in a few. Maryann Anytime you want to chat, let me know.

Hi everyone. I had to keep reminding myself that yesterday was the 4th of July.  I just grocery shopped and didn't do much else.   I suppose I'm getting old LOL Today is pretty much the same....off to the gym and cleaning house. Have a super day!

Not having a great day- my dog Xena died last night about 130...vet thinks was a heart attack...I am glad I was with her when she dropped.  I tried CPR etc but she was already gone.  Hubby and I got home about 3am.  All I do is cry cry cry, we have no kids and she was one of our babies.  We still have our choc lab Sully and she seems sad and wont leave my side. Sorry for being a downer but I am so upset. Shannon PS She was only 5 yrs old...and the best girl ever.

Sooooo Sorry for your loss. We had a time last night around 1am to with the fireworks going off Gypsy was barking half the night.. Hope you find some joy in the next few day . I will be thinking of you... HUGS

Shannon..... We're praying for you and Bob and Sully....that you can get through this really hard time and keep the great memories of Xena in your heart.  Know that you were the best mommy to her ever, and she lived a really happy life with you guys. XOXOXO

Shannon I am so very sorry about your "baby"......pets are like our children .... so very dear to us. I've cried buckets over lost pets and I'm not ashamed to say it.

When you feel up to it, please go to your local shelter and rescue a doggie.....there are so many that need good homes and want to be loved....

OMG Shannon, I am so sorry.  I know how much you love your dogs.  We had to put ours down a couple years ago and I still have not gotten over it.  When you're ready...get yourself another baby.  I know when we got Bella almost a year ago it helped tremendously.   Take care, Carey

I'm so sorry for your loss Shannon.  They're with you and really are like your children. I'm glad you were able to be with her. I lost one of my dogs a couple of years ago within a week of having knee surgery. I feel your pain. Maryann
