I got a call today from my HR benefit rep....she said that the insurance company faxed my approval late last night (long story...but I had to get HR involved b/c insurance company wasn't following our policy).

So I called my surgeon's office right away and they said, yes they have it and how does surgery on Tuesday sound??? Yep! I'm going to be banded 7/8!!!! Doing the happy dance....

Congratulations!!.. I've not been sorry I did it.. I've been frustrated a few times but never sorry.. I'll be gone on vacation.. so good luck!.. walk walk walk.. sip sip sip.. get your sleep and take your pain meds if you need them.. we'll be waiting for an update!.. heal quickly!..
