Suregon Referral

Has anyone had Dr. Albert Schneider out of Clinton Township for their surgery?  I am almost three years out and I really need to see my doctor for a complete check-up, but he's a bit too far for me, especially the way the gas prices are!!  I want to make an appointment ASAP.

Rhonda, what kind of surgeon are you looking for?  I know you already had RNY?   Are you looking for a plastic surgeon.  If you just need a check up, you might want to look for a primary care physician, and there are all kinds of them in the Shelby area.  You might want to call Beaumont and find one close to you that meets your specifications.   Carol

I have yet to find a primary care doctor that REALLY understands the gastic bypass/RNY surgery.  I feel that I need a real going over.  I went to the 'find a bariatric surgeon' on the left side of this page and he was the only one that is close enough (it doesn't hurt that my psychologist, who also had bariatric surgery) is nearby.  I see her on the7th. I don't want to even think of plastics b4 I get down to about 10 pounds of my desired weight.  I want a complete body and boob lift.  I can live with the theater curtain thighs and grandma's batwings, as they aren't too bad.  I've heard many good things about Dr. Ellen.  I'm also thinking about the Laser Bra proceedure, but I may have to go to Columbus, OH for that. However, I really need someone that can understand me.  I mean ya wouldn't go to an ob/gyn when you have lung cancer...

On the same theory, if you do not want something cut, then you would not go to a surgeon.   Find a good PCP who understands you and your needs.
