PCP help??

Hi! I haven't been here in a while, and I am beginning to think about RNY again. Does anyone have a referral for a good PCP in the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area? I don't really have one, and I know my insurance will require the 6 month dr supervised diet. So before I even bother looking for a surgeon (again), I would like to find a PCP that is familiar with and has referred others for RNY. Thanks!!

I went to the East Ann Arbor Family Practice clinic at Domino's Farms.  My doc just moved, but I have seen others there for follow up care and they are pretty WLS friendly.  They are in the same building as the U of M bariatric program, but I don't think you have to use that program if you don't want to. Hi- I use Roger Chen, with IHA Family Practice.  I just got referral from him for WLS last week, and have been seeing him for the past 10+ years.  I really, really like him - treats me with respect, gives me realistic advice - on everything - not just WL.  I asked him about WLS and he was very supportive.  Said he'd do whatever he could to help me through the process.  I can always get in (same day, usually) when i need to see him for something.  All in all, I highly recommend him.  On Hogback,  between Washtenaw and Clark.  Good luck! lara
