The ones that I like the best are:
Body Fortress (at Wal-Mart)
* Chocolate
* Vanilla
* Strawberry (not great, but works good in strawberry smoothies with fresh or frozen berries)
Syntrax Nectar
* Cappucino
Champion Nutrition
* Cookies and Cream (got tired of this, so haven't had it in a while)
My latest favorite shake recipe is a icy frappucino type drink. Here's how I do it:
1 cup milk
1 scoop Nectar Cappucino
1 teaspoon decaf instant coffee
Ice
Blend until ice is crushed. It's like a cappucino slurpee. Yummm!
Another favorite is a fruit smoothie:
1 cup liquid (usually crystal light in Sunrise Orange)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
handfull of frozen fruit (peaches or mixed berries or strawberries)
1 dollop of plain or vanilla yogurt
Blend until frosty and delicious. If you use fresh fruit, add ice to the mix.
I also love hot cocoa sometimes too:
1 cup boiling water (from my teapot)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 splash sf coffee creamer (french vanilla or hazelnut are great)
Add everything to the blender and whiz on low until just blended. Yum!
