2 Year Surgiversary

Yesterday was my 2 year surgiversary.  I stepped on the scale and had lost 4 more pounds which I didn't want to lose but I'll take it.  It's been great and I'm so glad I had this surgery.

I'm doing great Carey.  I'm trying to get used to the heat.  It's going to be 113 today and you really have to push the fluids.

Congrats on the Wt.Loss You have the rest of your life to enjoy it... Keep up the great Job...

Thanks for the nice words Jenny.  I am loving it here in AZ.  If you come to the Phoenix area, be sure to let me know.  We have a great West Valley group (OH) and getting better all the time.  I live in Sun City which is an over 55 community.  House prices are low as well as the taxes.  I actually pay less property taxes here than I did in Stanwood because being a "retirement" community, we don't pay school taxes.  On the other hand, income tax, sales tax (WOW!!!) and license plates are a lot higher than in Michigan.  Everybody there complains about how much they pay in taxes, well come to AZ and you'll see what taxes you pay.  BUT . . . . We also don't have snow, I get in the pool starting in March and go to November.  I can go to the rec center and use their pool year around because they pay to heat the water and it doesn't rain for weeks on end.  Yes it does get a bit hot (113 today) but I love it since I usually freeze to death. Aren't you glad you asked, lol.
