Saturday Morning Cuppa Joe

Jenny,
It sounds like you are doing great despite the head hunger. Keep fighting the fight.
Congratulations on the interview, even though it is bitter sweet. I have seen you and think that you really do look great (even before surgery). It would be a tough call about whether or not to talk about your recent surgery. It might be too much information for them and if they only know negative things about the surgery, they may not hire you based on lack of personal knowledge about it. I think your husband is right in that you should rely on your experience and your intellect. You are going to do great!
We are going to change the location of the meetings during the summer since we can't get into the schools. I'll be posting about it soon.
Let us know how everything is going for you.
Jenn
Good Morning Jenn, Congrats on the wls. It is a great journey. Enjoy and embrace it. I totally understand your dilema. Funny, I have been with my company for over 20 years and about a year ago, I applied for and got a job I knew damn well I wouldn't have gotten if I was still obese. Sad how this works..huh? I would go to the interview and NOT tell them. Your DH is right (omg..did I say that)...we should be hired on our education, experience, etc...not our looks. If nothing else...go and get the interviewing experience and let it be what it will be. -L
