West MI Peeps...

I am interested in scoring some bullets - protein bullets that is.  I understand that they may not be just anywhere.  Does anyone know where they might sell them?   If so, are there ones better than others. I don't want to buy off the internet, just yet, if I don't need to.  I'd like to try a few first.  I don't need a gross if they are.....well, gross. Thx!

I was at Vitamin Shoppe this weekend and they had them in the cooler.  I'm not sure what the brand was.  They had two kinds....one with 25g of protein for about $2.50 and one with 42g that was slightly more.  I only looked at the 25g flavors....they had blue raspberry and tropical fruit. I have tried these in the past and they tasted like nasty cough syrup to me.  The good part was I could hold my nose and down them in 2 shots.  I don't know if someone that isn't as far out as I am would have trouble doing that or not.  

Let me know if you find these. I and some runner friends would like to use them on long runs. I had one on a century bike ride last weekend. Seemed okay. I got it at an OH conference in Romulus though. WEST SIDE!

hey gwen, do you have a super walmart by you?  i was told that they sell those back by the pharmacy.  you should give it a try.  they are not the new whey brand, but i bet they are just as good.

Just thought I'd tell you that the Wal-Mart on Alpine has just re-opened as a Super Wal-Mart--I haven't been there yet (just opened a couple weeks ago) but I hear it's really nice...their "new" parking lot isn't done yet so you have to park in the old lot and they have a trolly to take you to the new one...

Dude, don't push people to shop at that place!!! Sheesh.......

With the price of gas over $4 per gallon I don't think I will be visiting them all. LOL!  It just so happens the Ionia one is only a few miles away from me.  I'll check them out.  If they don't have them I'll call around.  Thanks for the list of Super Wally's.  I know the Cascade one is NOT a super one but I wasn't sure about any more in the GR area.

Gwen, I live in Sturgis and am heading up there on Friday as I said for an appointment. If they have one or two, I have no problem meeting you along 131 and dropping one or two off. Let me know.. I have to make the trip anyway.Sometime between my appointment at 11:00 and wither my way there or way back... Let me know.. Wow I actually live some place where we might HAVE something..
