TUESDAY MORNING COFFEE POST

Good morning board members. I am on day two of liquids, trying to drop these pounds so I can have a summer surgery. I have water, protein shakes, and HMR shakes. I also have jello. What's going on this morning?

Good morning! I am just playing the waiting game with Barix now.  I had my consult and psych eval last week.  That is all my insurance requires but my chart still has to go through their insurance department to make sure they have done all they need to do to get paid.  Hoping this will move quickly.  I'm really anxious to get this done!   Other than that, bummed that the Wings lost but at least they're up in the series, right? Happy Tuesday!

Thanks Pam! I called yesterday and am just waiting for the psych eval to hit.  It should be smooth sailing from there. This is just all so overwhelming and consuming! I go to bed thinking about it and wake up thinking about it.  I don't know how I am functioning I am so distracted!

Hi guys, What a great rainy day!  I'm drinking water and looking forward to being super busy at work. We interview a few new sitters tonight.  Wish me luck finding the perfect one! I am one day closer to my surgery date of Aug. 4 th. I am not nervous, it just all seems a bit surreal right now, like it's not going to really happen. Dr. Gluck is leaving me with the option of the RNY (which I tentatively chose) or the gastric sleeve. I don't really know which to do....I don't want to lose hair (as is frequent with RNY) but I do think that dumping syndrome would, in a way, be an advantage to me since I am addicted to carbs and am high risk for diabetes. Oy.

Just taking a break I have been washing the walls and cleaning up after my step-kid move out . I nice to get the house back for just us two....LOL Hope everyone is having a better day then me....
