Do you usually use real eggs or an egg substitute?

I usually eat just regular eggs, but for me, they are hit or miss as to how they sit. If they are overcooked, then i pay for it..but if they are done just right, they sit fine. I haven't tried egg beaters since before surgery, so I don't know how they are.

Myself I prefer the real thing but worry about the cholesterol issue. The egg beaters seems to be more "chewy" than the real thing along with less flavor.  Price is a big issue also, the real thing is alot cheaper.

Depends on what I am doing with them, Scrambled or omlets, I use real eggs.  Quiche or baking I use egg beaters.  Real eggs seem to sit better.

Since we had different surgeries, mind if I ask you to explain *how* they don't agree with you?  Do they make you feel sick?  Do you upchuck when they don't agree with you? Anyone can answer this, I was just curious about RNY and how food didn't agree.  With lapband if they get stuck they are coming up and out.  Me and eggs have a love hate relationship at times.  I use real eggs from my favorite Amish community, the egg beaters aren't as tasty to me. anyway.. thanks to whomever answers this..

For me, it's more or a uncomfortable feel, not a real pain, and then causes me to get. Sometimes it feels like a bite too much.. or if they are too dry.. they just don't digest and tend to be more painful. It's not really a stuck feeling thankfully.

Egglands Best real eggs is what I use.  I had breakfast at IHOP this weekend and the eggs were great.  BTW, they have sugar free syrup!
