Happy Memorial Day and Good Morning , Hope everyone is having a fun weekend and still has the day off . What a weekend we are having but witch out for the storms this afternoon....

Right Back Atcha Randy I am a huge chicken when it comes to storms!  I always hang out in the basement no matter what.  Hey, better safe than sorry.  Went thru Hurrican Opal back in 95 and still have nightmares... Good Morning, Randy! Thought I'd join the coffee talk for the first time. I'm sitting here with my decaf Starbucks, black. This has been a great weekend, so far. Went to the Kalamazoo Dog Shows Saturday and saw Spamelot in GR yesterday (what a riot). Today I may buy some paint as Sherwin Williams has a sale. Need to walk the pug before this afternoon. Maybe will go see Prince Caspian....... Deb

The weekend has been great.  Some of my family came yesterday and we grilled out.  Made Rob's chicken and Belinda's cake and they LOVED it.  We played Dominoes for a bit on the deck.  Messed around with setting up the pool.  Then we went to the movie and saw Indiana Jones.  Today, we don't have much planned.  Hubby and I are hanging out.  We may go to the parade at 10 here in town.  We'll try to finish the lawn but I'm not sure the weather will cooperate.  And for Memorial Day, I read this interesting fact last night.  Did you know...... In 2000, Congress established a National Moment of Remembrance, which asks Americans to pause for one minute at 3pm in an act of national unity. The time was chosen because 3pm “is the time when most Americans are enjoying their freedoms on the national holiday.”  I had never heard of this before. Enjoy the rest of your day.  Tina

Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day! Everyone here is still asleep, except the new doggie, who wakes me up at 4:45am every day to tinkle.  That's ok, I'd rather have her wake me up then do it inside!   I have a lot I SHOULD do today, but I got a new book over the weekend and I want to get that started.  Maybe I'll lock myself in my room and tell the guys I'm cleaning.  They'll stay away for sure! We're grilling burgers later, maybe in the rain. Have a wonderful and thoughtful day.  We'll be taking Tina's bit of info to heart and saying a prayer at 3pm.

Morning all, slept late this morning, shocked when I seen 9:45 on the clock when I rolled over.  So my day is just getting started.  Having a sugar free caramel latte, and checking my email. Spent the day at the park yesterday, followed by putting flowers on all the family graves.  Have one more to do today, but not until after hubby gets home at 3:30.  til then it is probably laundry and lounging around.   Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Happy Memorial Day to everyone! Its so nice outside- was rainy this am but the suns out big time.  Been outside with dogs and hanging my suet bird feeders....those are for birds right and not deer?  I dont want deer in my fenced in backyard....played with my neighbors new boxer puppy and sat on deck..came inside to cool off.  I think I am gonna mow the back yard before it rains again. Back to work tomorrow!!! Shannon

Happy Memorial Day and good afternoon coffee.......enjoying some Tim Hortons decaf with hazelnut shot and some protein.  Working 2nd shift has its' drawbacks but working today...now this is cool.  true, a 9 hour day to some may suck, but the $ I'm bringing in today will be sweet. all i did today was fill the bird feeders, moved my tree (large fig leaf) outside -- it stands about 5-6 feet tall and is about 4 feet in circumfrence and needs the sunshine!!!  played with kitty a while (lazy bum) and then here I am at work for the rest of the night. Hope everyone enjoys their day and the weather- its 85 here and sunny and breezy  == perfect day to be on the lake, in a sailboat, or flying a kite.  And I chose to work.  """"WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE???"""
