Brenda,
Well, my little one's left ear STILL has fluid in in, after 4 wks of antibiotics and Nasonex nose spray. But,,,, doc doesnt want to do tubes yet cuz the weather is breaking and it should clear up. Gotta go back in six wks just to be sure.....oh, and her adnoids are normal, she got to have xrays too!
thank you for asking Brenda. And I really hope things get better for you at work, I really do!
one week til ummm, the 'thing'!
Eh, I'm not going to let this thing at work bother me any more... I suppose. If it doesn't, I'll just totally Jerry McGuire and leave with the receptionist!
How's your little one's hearing? I hope she's not in too much pain and that it clears up soon. I remember those days.....as soon as Nick turned 9 the ear infections and fluid went away.
Hey, at least you got to leave work early today!!!
Her hearing is fine, but at 2 yrs she wasnt talking. The sitter actually said that she was reading lips, and the ENT agreed! Why did we not notice as parents??? The constant ear infections were preventing her from learning to speak. She has been in a special class since then thru 'no child left behind' programs. She is talking A LOT and is going to kindergarten next year. NO delays for her.
I had my adenoids taken out at 8 and my first set of tubes put in. I was told I would grow out of this by the time I was 12. The last set of tubes I had put in was about 5 years ago. I still have tubes. I have non-functioning Eustachian tubes because of the allergen receptors in my eustachian tubes. That's where my allergies manifest themselves. That and in my esophagus, which causes my esophagus to be "ringed". I think I'd rather have sneezing, itching and watery eyes. OY!
Enjoy your weekend!

I had my coffee long ago this morning! It's Friday. We've had a long week at school. Trying to get LOTS done and my class has been very productive this week, so we are watching a movie this afternoon as a treat! I even brought my dog to school today! She loves all the attention. Hates the ride in the car, but loves all the hands petting her. Right now she's curled up asleep on my couch in my classroom. Awwwwwww.....
ENJOY YOUR LONG WEEKENDS EVERYONE! Get in your naps. Get your odd jobs done. Whatever it is you are planning.....have fun! Tina

Randy,
I have been waiting all week to make 'Rob's ranch chicken'. He uses olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a packet of ranch dressing and marinates it for an hour or so. Then puts it on the grill. Okay, that is the part that will get me. I dont really know how to use the grill yet. And I dont want to dry out the chicken breasts either. Hey any of you who want to give me a grilling lesson, stop on by..... [my family THANKS you!! LOL]
