Hi Everyone-Dr. Pleatman

I am researching Dr. Pleatman, can anyone who has had him for their surgeon please give me some info? You know, all the things a pre-op wants to know. I have read some unfavorable things regarding the nursing staff and as long as he is an outstanding surgeon, I guess I could get thru it. I was all set to have surgery in Bowling Green with Dr. Lane, July 14, but after getting the runaround on pricing, he is just too expensive. Well, he's not, the darn hospital is. I have to put down $9000 then owe anywhere between $15-$20 thousand, I just can't do that. Dr. Pleatman seems to have an unbelievable self pay price. I appreciate any help you can offer, thank you so much!

hi   is this Dr. Pleatman in Bloomfield?  I had a consult with him  few years ago  and decided not to go through with him  he charges a really high maintence fee (I thought).   Have you tried Barix Clinic?  I gave up for a few years and decided in April to start the process again  and I am schedulded July 29 for RNY.
