First of all, I would like to say thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
My father in law had a massive heart attack yesterday. He is in ICU, but doing well. He had a 100% blockage. They put in a stent and did a heart cath to find he had very little damage. He was very lucky. The biggest problem they were having last night was keeping the incision from the heart cath, the one into his femoral artery, from bleeding. But they had it all under control by the time we left around 11 last night.
On May 2nd, my inlaws celebrated their 39th anniversary. They turn 59 this summer. This was very unexpected as my father in law was recently told by numerous doctors that his heart was fine. He has been sick for the past week, with flu-like, pneumonia-like symptoms. He's been to 3 or 4 docs in the past week. So, go figure. We're just glad that they got to the hospital in time to prevent any major damage or repercussions.
