Psychologist orders support groups, now what?

I saw the psychologist April17, and he ordered support group attendance at least 1 per month. I haven't heard back from the surgeon's office yet. What now? Is there anything else I need to be doing?

I am looking to have the roux en y, and my insurance is BCBSM PPO

Did they say for how long  you need to go?  I had to go too, and see a therapist for at least 6 visits.  Everything happened really quickly after that.

He only said 1 support group meeting each month until my surgery.
