OT: Alright Men, Explain Why Pudge and Marcus are Both

Wearing Number 42 tonight?  My lucky numba 7 is gone?  Just tell me why they do stuff like that, seriously I really dont know....

Some players do this once a year for the last year or 2 to honor Jackie Robinson. The number 42 is retired league wide. They do it on Jackie Robinson Day (a baseball holiday of sorts).

Jodianne, I thought my hubby would know that answer, but interesting enough he couldnt tell me.  Oh, and it was Gary Sheffeild wearing the jersey too.  I am a dork.  But I try hard to get into sports.  I am a sports widow.  Last night, here is what we watched: Tigers Citrus Bowl Rerun U of M girls softball Pistons News..... crap, I have no choice but to try to understand and be interested in sports!

the tigers game was awesome! they are on a 2 win streak! the pistons won last night too. the zoo crew rocks!!!! cant wait for the playoffs to start this weekend!
