help!!!! ( very grose) sorry but i need help

i'm two years out and havent had any problems but now for the last week and a half i have had extreeme  diarrhea. the surgeon told me to go the my pc first and he doesnt have a clue. im eating the same nothing has changed, i cant even hole it at some times i go probley 8 times a day all watery and chunks of  food has any one else had this problem? my pc put me on some pills to sloe down my system but they give me extrem stomic bloating and gas.. thanks for the help

Did you PCP do any bloodwork?  It sounds like some type of virus or bacterial infection rather than anything to do with the surgery.  He should check for things like E. coli or food poisoning or other bugs that cause extreme diarrhea.  

I agree with Pam... I had that back in Dec/Jan for about 3 weeks and I had camphelabactor (sp?), it is a food born bacteria infection that I got from something I ate....  They would need to get a stool sample and check that out... I wouldn't just let it be, persistance pays off... Call your doctor again and let them know what the pills are doing to you and that you would like to either be referred to a specialist or for them to do further testing....
