I'm going on my "free tour" tomorrow at the Canton location. Anyone belong there?  If so, what do you think? Yes, I know it's expensive.....don't care about that right now.  I need someplace to work out that's open all hours of the day because by the time I'm done talking to you guys....um...I mean doing all of my housework, it's pretty late at night.

I wish you had the motivation to join my gym and work out with me!  See if your new boss will spring for it instead of the pedis...LOL!

My brother in law and my sister in law belong to that gym and LOVE IT!  If we lived closer, we'd join.  It's not far from work for either of us, but I don't want to drive up there in the summer.  However, if we move anywhere near the area (we're looking....have to sell our house first), that's the gym I'll join.  So....maybe....someday....in the future....we can work out together!  Maybe...someday....Tina

I didn't think they were that expensive, but I may be thinking of the cost with my hubby's discount because he works for Ford.  I think they are comparable to other gym costs and have a lot to offer.  I mean, I paid $30 a month for Curves and from what I remember, it didn't seem like Lifetime Fitness was that much more, but that was a few years ago when we looked into it.  I pay $65 a month at my gym in Chelsea and $42 for my hubby's membership.  And we haven't been to the gym in months....so flushing that  $100 down the toilet every month, but I just can't get myself to give up my membership!  I WILL GET BACK TO THE GYM WHEN SCHOOL IS OUT!  (That's what I keep telling myself.)

I belonged to Lifetime after I had surgery but the drive killed me. It was more than 10 miles from my house. I did however LOVE the gym. The amenities are awesome! The locker room is spacious, the personal trainers are great to work with, if you ever have a question about how to run a machine they will help you. They offer classes, although they do have waiting lines for some of them. I liked it alot. Right now I am a member at the Warren Community Center. It does not have hardly as many machines. I hate that aspect about it but at least the pool rocks.

Suzanne, Let me know when you go to the pool.  I'll see if I can meet you there.  I've been a little lax(well lots lax) due to work problems and social life problems, but things are improving.  I'm planning on the water aerobics Tuesday and Thursday at 6PM, and the 9 AM on Friday. Jeanne

I usually work late on those days and I work that early on Friday mornings. Maybe we can meet one weekend and walk the lazy river or something. Suzanne
