Need prayers/healing vibes for one of our own
Our own Annette W is in the hospital. She sent me an email and all it said is that she is in the hospital. She has been having trouble ever since her RNY surgery on 3/25. I do not know the specifics but last I talked with her she could not get any foods/liquids to stay down. At that time if things didn't improve fast she was going to be put in for TPN feedings. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I will post more if I hear anything. Thanks, Carole

Debbie M Annette sent me a PM from the hospital. Along with dehydration it seems that she has a small hole in her old stomach that is making the stomach produce lg amounts of acid that is going into her new pouch. The new pouch is raw and they need to do surgery on the old stomach. But not untill the new pouch heals some. So she is going to be on some heavy meds for about 8 weeks to calm her pouch and then have surgery to her old stomach.

Oh, man! That is a big bummer! Annette is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope her new stomach heals quickly so they can get things back on track for her. Poor gal! Thanks for letting us know Carole!
