anemia

I am 2 years out from RNY. I am going great with the weight loss 130#! I have been having problems over the last year with anemia. My hgb runs betwee 8-9. My B12 level was fine so I am stumped. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do. My family MD is very concerned. I told him it is a malabsorpition issue. I will call my surgeon but thought I would ask here also. Thanks

Have no clue... But make sure you let us know what your Dr. said to you ....

My iron is very low and if I can't get it up in the next few months I will need to go in for IV iron.  And as for my B-12 it is way above normal, so I am not sure how the two are connected.   Wish you luck...let me know what your surgeon has to say. Thanks,  Dani
