Qualifying comorbidities? Anyone have a list?

At first I didn't think that I had any qualifying comorbidities, but going through some medical records, I came accross 2 things that may or may not qualify. Does anyone have a list? I may have some and have just never been diagnosed before. If so, how do I go about finding out? I have had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones and I was in (2005) diagnosed as having fertility problems? (Keep in mind that I did have a baby in 2007, but it took me 7 years of trying). Do either of these qualify?

Check the link below, there is far too much info to post here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastric_bypass_surgery#Comorbid _conditions Hopefully that helps Stacey W

I don't have a list, but I know diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, arthritis, and problems with feet, legs, knees, back, etc are.  I'd think fertility would be since they have proved that extra weight adds to fertility issues.  I am not sure about the gallbladder surgery....but I'd list what ever you may think will be included and they'll tell you if it doesn't apply. Good Luck!! Gwen BTW - What did you find out from your insurance co?  Did you ever get an answer about the BMI over 50 and that stuff being waived?

Gwen, I never got a specific answer from the insurance company on the BMI over 50 waiving the diet, but what they did tell me is "That will be determined after your surgeon sends in the needed information". I appreciate your concern. Thanks
