Last Saturday of the Month Coffee?
Good morning all. I am a stay-at-home mom. I won't be able to go back to work for a while... I don't think I could find a job that would pay enough for daycare right now even if I were in a position to go back. I unexpectedly left my last job when my DS was born and they never replaced me. Several have left since and they weren't replaced either (Randy - I worked for Tri-Co Elect - Is that who you have??)
I do think we'll see some improvement here in MI, but I feel that this is just a taste of things to come - for all states, not just MI. I am not being cynical, but it seems that there are more rich and poor people, but us middle income people are dwindling (were actually lower-middle I think).
That is just another reason for having the surgery. Jobs are hard to find and I don't want the discrimination against my weight overshadowing my abilities when I am able to go back to work..
Good Morning all! The state is bad. My husband and I rent so we aren't losing a home, my parents did last year though, it was horrible. But since we rent and I am coming into some money, i am deciding to buy or rent a bigger place. credit sucks, so it will be difficult to buy. Anyhow.... There are no plans for us today... just going to hang out at home, as usual, but its all good. Hope everyone has a great day!
oh BTW, the other day when we got snow, we received like 3-4", ALL melted away yesterday. Almost everybit of it is gone, now all we see is ucky grass and mud.....
Good morning everyone.
I agree with all that the economy is bad, but no matter how bad we say it is, people in this state will continue to live as though it's not. No matter what gas prices are, people still don't carpool to work. Everyone I know claims tough times, but I don't know anyone that has sold their place up north or started taking the bus to work or quit eating out. Here in Westland, on any given night of the week, the mall and nearby restaurants are packed. It just doesn't seem like people are really cutting back. So, while I'm still on my soapbox, I will say that if we started teaching our kids early how to live in a bad economy that they would be more prepared for tough times and maybe even focus on some alternative ideas for our state and others. Ok, handing the soapbox to someone else now.
Just working, homework, and cleaning today. I might go walk if it's not too mucky outside.
Have a super day!
Wow what a way to start the day.
I am joining really late today, but been going since about 7 a.m. No coffee today, just al lot of shopping. Apparently my economy is good.
No coffee today, just some muscle milk. Coffee and me have not been freinds for a few days. My absessed tooth does not help any. But this too shall past.
Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful Saturday.
