Approval letter???

Hello everyone I am so excited!! today I got a letter from the insurence company saying this is a approval confirmation of medical necessity only,  this is not a approval for a claim.  does this mean I am approved for my surgery they just goto figure out what my plan is and how much they will pay?  I wonder how much longer I have got to wait this has been a years wait for me!!   do I have the rite to be excited now or sit on pins and needles??  Thanks for your help!!

It sounds like they are ok with it being done as long as its a "medical" reason.  I would contact them (insurance company) and ask what they mean.  I think whats needed now is a doctor's opinion that you "need" this surgery for "medical" reasons.....
