Barix referral for surgery at University of Michigan
I wonder if anyone has had the same exerience as me. I had my initial visit at Barix with Dr. Poplawski who sent me back to Toronto with a list of tests which I moved heaven and earth to have done over a three-week period He has all the results and an extremely positive letter from my congenita heart doctor who agrees that the surger must be done at the University Now the University must get all of this information from Dr. Pop with his recommendation that I have a date set for the surgery, Has anyone else had this experience? How long is the wait to get in for surgery at the University? Thanks and take care
Is Dr Pop doing the surgery at Uof M or is he referring you to another surgeon?

I feel so much better having found some Dr. Birkmeyer fans. I have to wait for Dr. Poplawski to actually make the referral and I"m hoping to avoid doing all the tests, etc. again. I'd like to just check in, do the re-op and the op, post-op and go home, I've been waiting so long with all this other nonsense. Thanks for the encouragement, it's just what I needed today. Take care.
