I had my nip & tuck

Hi everyone - I had my tummy tuck on March 5th and I'm doing very well.  The surgeon (Dr. Bruce Chau who was GREAT) used a pain pump and the pain in my abdomen wasn't that bad at all.  More than six pounds of skin was removed from my abdomen and yesterday I weighed 7 pounds less than on the day of surgery.  But what I'm most delighted with is......... I ALSO GOT A FACELIFT!  I love it - - I no longer have turkey neck, no saggy jowls, the wrinkles I had around my mouth look almost invisible and the best thing is that I don't look all stretched to kindom come - I just look like  a better me.   I'm really glad this is behind me.  Because I had the TT and the facelift together, my surgery was more than 8 hours long and I had trouble breathing on my own afterwards.  So I spent the night in the ICU on a vent until the next morning when I could breathe okay without it.  They moved me to a regular room and made me stay an extra day but I am fine.  I was not prepared for the amount of swelling in my head from the facelift, nor was I prepared for how it would feel.  I really felt like I was gonna pop.  It's getting a lot better now and I'm to the point where I don't need any extra strength tylenol anymore.  I go back to see Dr. Chau tomorrow and get all of the staples/stitches out.  I think I'll probably have to keep the drain tube for another week because there's still a pretty good amount collecting every day.  yuk.  I'm DYING to try on my clothes to see how much betther they'll fit but that dang tube is in the way! So that's my update - - it's behind me and I'm GLAD! Karen

45 pairs?  I think addicted is an understatement.  Do they have a support group for this?
