Walk & Talk for Mt Pleasant

We have scheduled the next Walk & Talk for Mt Pleasant on Tues, March 18 at 6pm.  We are hoping to walk outside.  We can bundle up as long as it is not rainy.  Is there a park, railtrail, or somewhere safe to walk?  Thanks for any info and hope to see you there.

MP parks http://www.mt-pleasant.org/depts/pr/prhomepage/cityparks/par ks.html Island Park is near dowtown Lots of trails-see map: http://www.mt-pleasant.org/depts/pr/prhomepage/cityparks/new %20updates%2007/island%20park%20facilty.pdf Deerfield park is known for it's trails but I'm not sure how well maintained it is this time of year (ie plowed).  I think it's used for cross country skiing during the winter.   It's on the outskirts of town, going West on M-20. I'm not familiar with the other parks. There is always CMU.  Miles of well maintained, well lit sidewalks with plenty of cafes etc for coffee and talking afterwards. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the information Shawn!  Will you be joining us?  It is just an informal walk and talk session.  I enjoy talking with others about their struggles and accomplishments.  I am 18mos post RNY and still would like to lose the last 15 pounds.  It is not an easy task.  Have a great day! Kelly

Wish i could be there but have prior commitment.......... I'm gonna be on TV here and they are coming to interview me and my two foreign exchange students here at 6pm have fun stay warm and walk a mile for me! Stacey W
