Dr Kam anyone???

I had surgery 10/19/2007 in ypsilanti Dr. Kam was my surgon--- I don't know if anyone is going threw this-- he is gone now and I have meet the new Dr. he is nice. I just can't help but to feel lost and scared. Anyone eles going threw this??? thanks sarah

I had Dr Kam, but I have not been back since he left.  One of the girls in my office met the new doc and really liked him. Apparently Dr Kam is doing surgery in Traverse City.  He told me I could transfer my records up there, it's almost the same drive, but I like the staff at Barix and plan on using them for my plastics. I liked the new Dr. that wasn't it at all I just felt lost. I am sure it's just me. Thanks for taking the time to write me

I had Dr. Kam and yes I know exactly how you feel.  Barix is great but finding another dr you feel comfy with and trust like you did Dr. Kam is hard.  I just started going thru them one by one.  I have seen Dr. Schram, Dr. Pop and next is Dr. Nunn.  All are very nice.   Pull up Barix here on OH and read about the Dr.s there.. see who appeals to you on paper, then each time you go in try a different dr if you're not thrilled with whom you just saw, book an appt with the next one.

 

It's hard tho, I really miss Dr. Kam.  I kind of had a set back for 3 months but I'm back on track now.  Good Luck with your decision, Barix is really very good, they have worked with me in choosing a new dr.  I think they all miss Dr. Kam as much or maybe more than we do. 

Hi Sarah, how are you doing??  I haven't "talked" to you in quite awhile!  I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I'm still going to Dr. Kam in Traverse City, it actually closer for me.  I just saw him on March 7th.  PM me some time I'd like to catch up with you!  Lori
