staples and drain out today

i can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!! i have one staple line that is killing me every time i move... i dont know if it was stapled too tight or what but i can not stand up straight because it pulls like a sunkinaditch!!!! but am excited... it will also be the first time i have weighed since surgery day 8 days ago.... yeah!!!! otherwise.. i am starting to feel alot better!!! I slept through the night for the first time in almost 2 weeks last night..... woooohoooo now THAT is a big accomplishment... lol will let ya all know what the doc says when i get home tonight!! To me that is one of the worse things about the surgery is the staples and the drains... I am so glad that you are getting them out. Hopefully everything will go smooth and you will be allowed to get the drains out. Suzanne

i cant wait... i believe i will feel much much better once those are out...... a bit concerned i might not get the drain out cuz its still draining alot daily and has not gone down... i can handle the drain if i get the staples out.... thanks for the kind words. :)

You will feel better!!! I promise! Mine was still draining a lot too. They still took it out! Good Luck!! I went for my nut meeting today! I get to eat! I have had cottage cheese and it is sooooo good!

hey!!!! how are you doing???? i just cant wait to get the staples out.. i dont care about anything else.... i cant wait to have eggs and cottage cheese and beans yumma yumma.. eggface has had some really awesome recipies on here and i cant wait to try some of them...the soups and protein drinks are getting old.... have u lost a great deal of weight yet?

Hello, I am doing fine. All the food I can have now tastes really good! Not having any kind of problems. Where do you find the recipies? The protein drinks are killers. I hate them! I have lost 30 pounds! I am very happy. Had to move down in clothes size! Dr.s office is happy with everything. I saw in a later post you had drain out. I know you must feel way better! Let me know.

I had a couple of staples that pulled a little. They were annoying!! I am in phase 3. Thanks for the info. I am glad you are feeling better. Have you started taking the chewable calcium yet? I HATE it! Let me know if you find some decent ones. Talk to you soon, Tracy
