Saxman,,,
Sorry to hear that,
My groups did very well all things considering. My middle group was a 1/2 letter grade from a I. Feel bad for them, knew they'd be close and if I was there they'd probably have gotten it. My top group is on fire right now and got all A's from 2 of the judges so I'm pleased (course I did get there for them). And it's the first time I've had a freshman group not get a III, course technically I STILL haven't had that happen, lol.
Iceing up the lump and just taking things easy for a couple of days. I don't think I'll get back much memory from the morning, but from about 11 on I'm fine. Only a small headache thank god!
I did think as they were loading me in the ambulance, "you know how embarrasing this would be if I hadn't lost all the weight?" Instead I was just another load for those guys!
Hope your head is doing better!

I slipped in 2002 on my front porch the day after a thaw. It refroze overnight. I remember seeing my feet above my head on the way down. I hit the last step square in the middle of my back and broke my back at the 7th vertebrae. I dislocated my sacrum too. It took 8 people to lift me into the meat wagon.
That was mild compared to what happened to me yesterday.
Headache is still there,,,,, everyday all day. It sucks.

"Go sell crazy somewhere else; we're all stocked up here."
Sorry to hear about your II's. That's tough, especially for middle schoolers.
I'm happy to report that my daughter's orchestra received a I. They rock in sight reading. Their director is da bomb, even though he's a "band" director teaching orchestra (gotta love our school district).
Keep on icing, it will get better!
