Off Topic

My hubby lost his job yesterday.  We are looking to move closer to the metro-detroit area.  Does anyone have any job leads.  ANY?  He's a computer person, technically inclined, but we'd entertain any help any of you all may have at this point.  We live up in Bay City, but are willingly and thankfully entertaining any advice anyone may have.  No job for him means no health insurance for me, which is scary right now.

I second what Shannon said.  I work at U of M and Love it, and the Beni's are awesome.  Check out dice.com for a great  list of IT jobs and simplyhired.com is also a great resource for all kinds of jobs Good Luck

As well as looking into IT positions in the health care industry, also check into the "No worker left behind" program through the State of Michigan.  Isn't it bay city that is opening an altenative energy plant?  Something is available out there, and if you are going to doing something, IT is the place to be right now.  Good Luck, you both are in my prayers.   

You can look on Michigan talent bank and also you can pull up the newspaper for detroit on Mlive.. I wish you both luck and I am sure he will find something soon.
