I wanted to share my 14 month weight loss pictures with you all.  I'm pretty bummed that I only lost 4 pounds this month, but I realize it's better than gaining. I still want to lose another 35 pounds but would be happy at losing another 20.  (all pictures are clickable for enlargement {don't we wish this was true for other things?}) Here is a front view of the me before weight loss surgery with me now merged together: I think you can really see a difference in the side view of the me before weight loss surgery with me now merged together: I'd like to wish all of you a

Jenn, I'm always amazed at your pictures.  Even your head looks smaller!  You should be so proud of yourself. Have a happy new year! Brenda

That's a pretty cool trick with superimposing the old over the new for the contrast. Now, 4 lbs in a month? That's still a loss and a good one. Remember you lose a percentage of your excess. You lost about 15% of you excess for the month. When you needed to lose 150 lbs (just guessing) at the start that would be almost 23 lbs in a month. I bet that was close to your starting losses? Either way I think you did great, are doing great and will do great. kp I fixed my spelling
"Go sell crazy somewhere else; we're all stocked up here."

Kevin, I hadn't thought of the loss in terms of percentage.  Thank you for that perspective.  The superimposing helps me greatly to see how far I've come.  Sometimes it's hard to see where we are going if we can't see where we've been.
