need help

I'm not the one to "take people on" so to speak but I wil throw in my 2 cents...
Good for you. Do what you can without surgery is the best way to go.
My advice is to eat like a bariatric. You won't have the bypass or restrictive elements but you can still try.
Up the water and protein. Cut the carbs. Eat small and frequently and walk an hour 4 days a week.
Se what that does for you. I bet you will lose. Not like a GAP but you will lose.
Now drink a glass of water and take a walk.

Have you checked out the "Non-Surgical Weight Loss" forum? I haven't been over there, but I understand there are several people who are also trying to lose weight without surgery.
There's also an old blog by a man who lost weight without surgery. It's not active any longer, but he still has all his archives up. I've read the entire website and find it fascinating. It's worth the read.

Dr Krause did my surgery in March 2003 and he saved my life. Beaumont has a Weight Loss Center in Troy/Royal Oak area, try them. Northpointe also has a program, they are at 12 and Woodward in Royal Oak. Dr Krause also refers to them. Beaumont offers many diet plans, they could be expensive but check into it.
I can only say this...try and drink alot of water and cut the carbs, go to GNC and see if they have a protein shake you like, they are all bad but I seem to tolerate HMR which I get online, Beaumont also sells it but its cheaper online.
Best of luck..
