I live in Rochester Hills and we have about 5 inches and it is still coming down.  I tried to take my little Yorkie out for a walk but she was not interested in walking through the snow so I had to shovel a walkway for her.  That was about 30 minutes ago and the area I shoveled is already covered up with snow that has fallen and snow that has blown around.  My kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow.  What do you native Michiganders think? I love this stuff!!!!!! I wanted snow for awhile. I mean I hate the cold unless there is snow involved. I feel sorry for the people that have to go out in this but I am so glad that we finally have some snow and hope it sticks around until Christmas!!!! It is a good thing this happened on a Sunday though because otherwise the idiots would be out driving in it tomorrow morning. Here's to a nice cup of cocoa and sitting inside looking at the christmas tree!!!

I live in Brighton, and we have a foot in our driveway.  We have a new puppy, and it is cold to take him out and wait for him to take of business. Brrr........

Well it's been a few hours and now there is about 6 inches or more in my little town which is 23 miles due north of Howell (D-19 with a  few zigs and zags goes north to Durand). So I am certainly not looking forward to tomorrow's commute to Ann Arbor.

It sure does look like we got about 10 - 12 inches here in Pinckney.... Hubby is out doing the shoveling, so I am just going by what I see... It is still snowing too.... I wonder how much we will end up getting when it is all said and done.... Our doggy didn't even wait for a path today and where there was one she wanted to roll around in the snow.... came in all covered in little snow balls... LOL....  She is just a little dog so she looked so funny....

Well, they just blew my walkway and it looks about 5 or 6 inches.  I'll have to go out later to the trash at least. I was wishing I hadn't thrown my cross country boots out.  Last weekend I found the snow pants and gaiters.  I think that I might even be able to get into them.  Both the cross-country skis and downhill are there but I think my days of downhill are done with my bad knee. I'm contemplating the laundry, cleaning and Christmas cards.  Jeanne
