Citracal Creamy Bites

Last night I bit into a Chocolate Fudge Creamy Bite and there was a bolt in the middle of it! I bought the box at Rite Aid in Wayne, and the lot # is CCU7078D.  This is just an FYI in case anyone else lives in the area and wants to check their boxes. The company is sending me 3 boxes to make up for it.  It wasn't a fun experience!

Yep, a metal bolt.  Actually, it's more like a screw, but I was afraid to post that I found a screw for fear you or KP would say something inappropriate LOL What's so bad is it has a sharp edge, and my intestines just cringe at the thought if it passing through!

I do not think that 3 boxes make up for the risk that this put you in.   The company needs to be more accountable than that.  Just my opinion.  I am not a litigitous person, but this it outrageous, and there is no way that I would settle for 3 boxes only.  CArol

Hey Debbie, I get my bites at Rite Aid.  They are 7.99 for 30 pieces.  You can probably get them cheaper other places, but that's where I get them.  I have gotten them at Walgreens before. They do have other ingredients, but not other nutrients that I know of besides vitamin D.  Sugar grams are listed as 4g, but sugar doesn't bother me, so I don't know how they will effect different people. I take these because unlike Viactiv, they are calcium citrate, not carbonate.  We absorb the citrate much better. Also, I like caramel ones, not the chocolate fudge.  To me, the chocolate tastes really really gross.  Until the foreign object, I was really happy with them!! http://www.citracal.com/Product/Creamy-Bites.aspx

I have to order mine from drugstore.com because you can't find a box of these things in the whole Phoenix area.  They say they aren't made anymore but I know that's not true.
